LIST OF REQUIREMENTS FOR FILIPINO CITIZENS APPLYING FOR A TOURIST VISA

 

  • Duly filled up Application form. (Available from the Embassy or downloadable from the website: http://portal.sre.gob.mx/filipinaseng/).
  • Passport (with validity of at least six months)
  • Photocopies of the passport

 

  • GREEN PASSPORT: One photocopy of the page of the passport with picture of passport holder, and of the last page where the signature of the Officer of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of the Philippines appears.

 

  • MAROON PASSPORT: One photocopy of the page of the passport with picture of passport holder and the last page where the signature of the passport holders appears (if any)

 

  • 2 pictures (1.5”x 1.5” (inch) in size, White Background)

 

  • A photocopy of a valid U.S., Canadian, U.K., Japan, or Schengen Visa (of applicant has any)

 

  • One valid identification Card (original AND Photocopy of the front and back side of the card).

 

-          Present any of the following: Driver’s License, SSS/ GISIS/ PRC ID Card, Company ID, Valid Student ID

 

  • Personal Appearance.

LIST OF REQUIREMENTS FOR FILIPINO SEAFERERS TO APPLY FOR A MEXICAN TRANSIT VISA

 

  • Duly filled up Application form. (Available from the Embassy or downloadable from the website: http://portal.sre.gob.mx/filipinaseng/).
  • Passport (with validity of at least six months)
  • Photocopies of the passport

 

  • GREEN PASSPORT: One photocopy of the page of the passport with picture of passport holder, and of the last page where the signature of the Officer of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of the Philippines appears.

 

  • MAROON PASSPORT: One photocopy of the page of the passport with picture of passport holder and the last page where the signature of the passport holders appears (if any)

 

  • 2 pictures (1.5”x 1.5” (inch) in size, White Background)

 

  • A photocopy of a valid U.S., Canadian, U.K., Japan, or Schengen Visa (of applicant has any)

 

  • Valid Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book issued by the authorized officer from the Maritime Industry Authority, Department of Transportation, and Communication, with a minimum of at least six months experience in the maritime activities. A copy is required of the pages containing information and picture of the holder, book renewal information page and the page containing the signature of the Issuing Officer.

 

  • Guarantee Letter from the authorized shipping line in the Philippines (original)

 

  • A copy of the Guarantee Letter from the authorized Mexican shipping agency/ company sent from Mexico to the Embassy  by Fax (No. 892-7635) or E-mail (embmxfil [at] info [dot] com [dot] ph (embmxfil [at] info [dot] com [dot] ph)), stating the duration of stay, date of departure of the ship from Mexico, as well as indicating the port where ship will board and next port of boarding/call.

 

  • Original AND photocopy  of the Certification of Employment issued by the Philippine Overseas Employments Administration.
